The following are our safe driving recommendations that are necessary for you to drive your vehicle in accordance with traffic and highway rules, road and weather conditions and in a way that does not create danger:

 

  • Before starting the journey, we should make sure that we are not sleepy and tired.
  • Before getting behind the wheel of our vehicle, we should check the mirror, tires, wipers, wiper water.
  • We should sit behind the wheel of our vehicle by choosing comfortable clothes that will not impair our driving safety and use it in a safe driving position.
  • Before starting our vehicle, we should make sure that both ourselves and the other passengers in the vehicle, if any, have their seat belts fastened.
  • Before starting the vehicle and moving, we should check the indicators and see if there is a negative situation.
  • We should pay attention to the speed limits according to the class of vehicles along the highway and act in accordance with the traffic and signs.
  • We should avoid all actions that will distract and jeopardize driving safety while driving.
  • We must follow the lane change rules and change lanes in a controlled manner.
  • Since the risk of icing on bridges and viaducts is higher than on other roads, we should reduce the speed of vehicles in these areas. 
  • We should take regular breaks on long journeys.
  • In case of a possible malfunction in our vehicle, we should move to the safety lane or, if accessible, to the nearest service area in order not to jeopardize traffic order and safety.
